When I was only 4 years old, my dad introduced me to wrestling and I've loved it ever since. The sport has taught me that there are times of adversity and also that nothing is given and everything is earned. It has also shown me that I can achieve anything as long as I put in the time. After being a team captain this year I know the qualities needed to be both a good leader and a good teammate. As for my academic career I currently have a 3.8 GPA and I've set goals such as graduating with honors and scoring well on the ACT and SAT tests so that I can set myself up for good opportunities in college and for my life after wrestling. I've learned that wrestling is a battle and one I hope to continue in college someday.
