The sport of wrestling has been a passion of mine since I was 8 years old. This intense sport has taught me discipline and perseverance. I am self motivated and enjoy the aspects that you can continue to learn about competition, diet, technique, etc. Since my first practice in December of 2014 I haven't looked back with my best achievement being:
• 2024 class 5a 150 pound oklahoma state champion
• 2023 class 5a 144 pound oklahoma state runner up
• 2024 157 pound fargo qualifier
• 2022 132 pound state qualifier
With no plans of slowing down my goals are to repeat my state championship this year and go undefeated along with plans of winning dual state and making all-state in both wrestling and football.
I plan on earning a degree in electrical engineering. With that in mind I have lofty goals for my academics after finishing my junior year with a 4.1 GPA and 26 on my ACT.
In my senior year I plan to:
• Finish top 10% in my class
• Improve my GPA
• Commit to a program that fulfills my needs as an athlete and student
I believe that I can be an asset to a college program by bringing or building on a culture that focuses on academic excellence and work ethic.
