My name is Sam Harris from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have been wrestling since the first grade. I immediately fell in love with the sport. I have been fortunate to have had great coaching and the opportunity to train in a room with some of the best in the nation. My first freestyle wrestling coach was Derick Fix with Team Big in Sand Springs, OK where I became friends with and learned from one of the best mentors a young wrestler could have in Daton Fix.
I plan to continue my wrestling career in college in a program where I can grow and reach my potential as both an athlete and as a student. I have a great work ethic, am a good student, am honest and dependable. I have been told I have good instincts on the mat and have tremendous upside. I have yet to hit my stride and reach full potential. I am dedicated and am excited for the future. My goal in college is to become an All-American and graduate with a degree in business or finance.
