My name is Camilo Palmas Jr, I'm a Sophomore at Myrtle Point High School in South Western Oregon, and a captain of my wrestling team. I wrestled at 150lbs and qualified for state last year(2023/2024 season) but was knocked out one match away from placing as a Freshman. My goal is to return and bring back a state title this year
I'm the 2024 OWA State Champion, at 150lbs for the 16u division. During the off season I placed 3rd in Freestyle and 4th for Greco-Roman at the OWA State wrestling tournament, qualifying myself for Nationals, in Fargo North Dakota also at the 150lb, 16u division.
I love the sport, and I'm determined to extend my wrestling career past high school. I have the discipline and work ethic to succeed, as well as the academic discipline necessary to see through my aspirations to compete.
Looking forward to representing
