I started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the start of my eight grade year, and after realizing I needed better takedowns I started wrestling. My dad had wrestled and told me it would be hard, but I never expected it to be as hard as it really is. My biggest challenge was not giving up while doing early season conditioning with the Newberg High School wrestling team. I attend Faith Bible Christian School, however they do not have a wrestling program so joined the program at my local public high school. Once I was in wrestling shape I really began to love the sport and hard work as well. I am hoping to graduate high school and college with a 3.75 GPA or higher. I am going to be studying business in the hopes of one day opening my own Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu school.
