Winning MAWA Nationals in 2017 and placing at PIAA States this past year have been two of my greatest accomplishments.
My interest in wrestling began my kindergarten year with folkstyle and became my year round passion when I began Greco and Freestyle a few years later.
Two of the most influential people in my life athletically and academically are Coach Haines, my wrestling coach and Mr. Smith, my 7th grade math teacher. They, as well as the sport of wrestling have helped to teach me self-discipline, respect, dedication and problem-solving skills. These skills, paired with my leadership ability played a large roll in being selected as varsity team captain my Freshman and Sophomore year.
I aspire to continuously maintain and graduate high school with a high GPA. After high school, I plan to attend a four year college to attain a Bachelors degree in engineering.
I will dedicate the time and effort needed to reach my goals and overcome any obstacles that may arise. Just as I did in my 3-year quest for a national championship and will continue to do in my quest for a State and Fargo championship.
I believe my dedication to academics and the sport of wrestling, with my willingness to grow and learn will be a welcomed addition to any college.
