Personal Statement

Ever since I stepped foot onto the wrestling mat for the first time in 7th grade, I knew it was the sport that I want to better myself in and put all my hard work and dedication towards. My hard work day in and day out is what makes me stand out from other wrestlers. I push myself to reach my goals both physically and academically. Starting to wrestle late was a major obstacle, so I realized I had to make some changes to try and reach my main goal; college wrestling. I decided I needed to be practicing with the best people I can at all times both on and off season.

I am now in my senior year of high school and focusing on my future both academically and athletically. I am currently in the top 10% of my class striving to continue to better myself everyday.
