Hello, my name is Austin Mears. I would first like to personally Thank You for taking the time to look at my profile. I am a junior at Mt. Pleasant Area School District in Mt. Pleasant, PA, and I am currently wrestling at 145lbs. Wrestling has been my biggest passion ever since i learned how to walk. About 5 years ago, I asked myself "What can I do to become one of the best wrestlers my school has ever seen?" Then I asked myself what can I do to become one of the best wrestlers in Pennsylvania. So I sat down and wrote a list of things I believed would help me accomplish those goals. My freshmen year in high school it all started to click. First, I started dedicating myself to my school work, getting 3.6-4.0 grade point averages. Next, I began to go to some of the best clubs around, including; Young Guns, All-American, and Pitbull. In the off season I started to attend their camps as well. Without a doubt in my mind, wrestling at the collegiate level would be one of the greatest opportunities I could ever gain. I believe I am different from other wrestlers due to my hard work ethic, and my drive to become the best student, both in the classroom and on the mat. So thank you again for taking your time to look at my profile, and I hope to hear from you soon.
