I may not be the toughest, fastest, or strongest, but I'd bet everything that I'm the toughest and most coachable. I'd run through brick walls and walk through fire for my program at Fairfax High School, and you can expect even more from me for your program. Discipline and accountability are what define me on and off the mat. I'm a self starter and I take initiative whenever possible. I never complain.
I have a great wrestling IQ and strong fundamentals. Snap down-go behinds and high crotches are my go-to from neutral, and I'm best at cradles from top. Hand fighting on bottom is my specialty.
Before wrestling, I was competent at Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu(BJJ), Boxing, and Muay Thai. A lot of the positioning and core principles of body leveraging and physical literacy carried over, so I try to always evolve my game through hard work.
I'm looking for a college that I can pour everything into and then some. One that can push me past limits that I don't even know that I have yet. I hope to be a positive source of energy and benefit everyone on the team-coaches, parents, and wrestlers alike.
In the classroom, I'm no different. I take the harder route every time when given assignments and never settle, even when I'm expected to.
My ultimate goal is to become stronger through the power of voluntary hardship.
