Blake Herrell '20 Recruiting Profile

Dear prospective coaches,

My name is Bake Mathew Herrell, I will be a 2020 graduate of Saint Charles West High School.  I started playing baseball 6 years ago and instantly fell in love with the game.  Once I started playing, I pushed myself to learn the game and constantly improve my play.  I started catching 5 years ago and worked hard to meet my goals of being a starter.  I have been the starting Varsity catcher my Sophomore and Junior year.  My Junior year, our Varsity Team hired a new head coach, coach Allen.  He pushed me and gave me the extra guidance to take my skill and game to another level.  I received the honor of being 2nd Team All-Conference Utility Player for my Catching and Pitching.  I was also honored to be the 2019 Sportsmanship Player of the year.  If given the chance to play for your organization, I am confident that you will see the skill level, confidence and coachable player you are looking for.  My love for the game has only gotten stronger as my skill level has improved and I continue to work daily to push myself.  I am not a player that will need to be pushed to hit the gym, hit the cage or work on my skill, I enjoy the work.
