Personal Statement

Throughout all of my life I have always been a multi-sport athlete to fully maximize cross-training and injury prevention. While I have played multiple other sports, Basketball has always been my main sport. Playing sports other than basketball has not only made me a better athlete, but it has also made me more coachable and given me a higher sports IQ. I have been playing on teams since grade school and have played under a large amount of different club and school coaches. This has allowed me to be adaptable too many different coaching styles and preferences. As I have gotten older, I've been told that I am a natural leader both in school and basketball. I am able to lead by example due to the values I hold myself to: Commitment, Discipline, and Dedication. These values drive me to be a better student and athlete, whether that be constantly working on my craft in the gym or spending time and effort in order to get good grades at a college prep school.

  • Although most of my team was not as skilled as some of the other teams in our bracket which resulted in us losing all of our games, I was able to start and be a significant role on my team while playing against some of the top talent for my age in the nation. This event really helped me realize what I need to work on as a player in order to take myself to the next level in my development.

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE.
