My name is Jackson Rye, I’m from Renton, Washington. My passion lies within track and field. I just started running competitively this year in February. I started doing Half-Ironmans (triathlons) which got me into distance running. I love the competitive nature and I love challenging myself everyday. I live for the feeling of pushing past physical and mental barriers when running. I want to be the best runner/athlete/student I can be. That being said now I am on my way to getting my pro-card in triathlons. I would love to cross train and I can run better off about 50 miles a week rather than 70. I am doing Ironman 70.3 Texas where I’m planning to break 4:30 total time. Academically I am driven. I was in and out of the hospital throughout highschool due to an eating disorder which caused physical issues with my body keeping me out of school. I have chosen to drop out and get my GED just because I fell behind in school so much. I now have my GED and the transcript is available . I am a hard-working driven student athlete who wants to compete and a very high level academically and athletically. I am driven by my competition and love a challenge. I look forward to talking to anyone who may be interested!
