Lina Fernandez '20 Recruiting Profile

To begin, I aspire to be a plastic surgeon. Not just for the income as many people suggest but for the satisfaction I'd obtain while I assist in boosting the self-confidence of many people. College for me is not only the chance to accomplish key components of my future but it also gives me another chance to play softball! My passion for this sport not only lies in the feeling I get making a play but also in the feeling I get building bonds with my team/sisters. What makes me a good asset to the team is how much I strive for the greatness of us as a whole, not just myself. What sets me apart from the other recruits is my ability to adapt. My ability to adapt allows my coach to tell me where they need me to play and without any issues I will adjust to playing there. In addition to being a great athlete, I am a scholar first.  My grades are great and It has always been imperative for me to keep them high. I'd be a great contribution to any team I just need the opportunity to be looked into.
