My dad has always molded me to be independent, strong, and hardworking. That is why with whatever I do, I do it for myself with the best of my ability because I know that is will show in my work. Sports have always been something I am good at so when I discovered both golf and tennis I latched onto them and tried my best to become the greatest I can possibly be. By playing these sports I have learned that I am very passionate about them and have found that I am very competitive and I will do anything in my power to become better. In High school and later for college my goal has always not been just to get A’s, but to also absorb all the information I possibly could and use it to better myself. Eighth grade year my dad became extremely ill. At first I thought it was unreal that my strong father could be taken down by something so small as an illness, but after a week or so it became relevant that his battle may be a losing battle. Eventually he did get better after the doctors figured out what was wrong with him and I learned a very valuable lesson. This lesson was to take nothing for granted and always live each day with happiness and kindness because you never know when either you or the person next to you will fall. Because of all of this I am hardworking, relentless, level headed thoughtful, kind and always up for a challenge.
