My name is Sophia Marshall, I am 17 years old and entering my senior year at Lincoln High School in Portland, OR. I am relatively new to the game and started playing high school golf as a Freshman. However, I found an exciting new passion in golf and decided to pursue the sport seriously and look forward to a successful career in college golf.
This summer, I began playing tournaments through the Oregon Junior Golf Association, continuously learning, navigating the competitive scene along with the opportunity to making new friends. I volunteer at local Drive, Chip & Putt events and am encouraged to see so many young girls pursuing a sport that I adore. My academic interests revolve around sports and forensic psychology and I know my golf experience can be instrumental in my success. I would love the opportunity to go to a school where my passion for golf and academics are valued and encouraged.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, I hope to hear from you soon!
