Katherine Lapinsky '21 Recruiting Profile

Going into college I want to pursue a career in Accounting. I want to be a part of a close and comfortable team where I can make a difference. Through high school being the only girl on a team of boys was challenging but also a blessing. They helped push me and encouraged my game. I always try to better myself and can be harder on myself than needed. I have always taken pride in my athletic and academic achievements. I always want to put my best foot forward and push myself to be better. Even though I want to be the best I can be, I feel like my attitude lifts the others around me to want to be the best of themselves. 

I was blessed to be part of an amazing team and have an awesome coach by my side. I have been fortunate enough to make it to districts each year in high school. In my sophomore year, I placed 6th at districts and moved into the regional tournament. This past year I placed 7th and went on again to regionals. I was so happy this year when I won my league championship and moved onto districts again. I don’t plan on stopping to push myself harder than before and continue to grow as a player.
