Maddy Reyes '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Maddy Reyes and I am currently a junior at Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon, California. I currently have a cumulative GPA of 3.8, and I am set to graduate in 2020. Some notable courses that I am partaking in here at Dougherty are Advanced Placement Psychology and Honors Anatomy and Physiology. Lacrosse has been a central aspect of my life, as I have been playing for 10 years now. I played for the Diablo Scorpions for 7 years, and was on Tenacity Bay Area 2020 Elite Blue for 8 years. I am currently on the Dougherty Valley High School Varsity Women's Lacrosse team as the captain of my third year. I mainly play as a Starter Defense, however I have additionally played as Starter Midfield throughout my lacrosse career. Furthermore, I have won several awards for my skill in lacrosse—Cody Tatro Award and the Best Defensive Player of Varsity Lacrosse. I strive to play lacrosse during college, while simultaneously receiving a degree in either Psychology or Film. Overall, I am looking for a school that will satisfy my needs as both a student and an athlete.
