Starting my junior year with a 4.0 GPA, I look for a challenge both in the classroom, as well as, on the field. My current coursework includes four college level courses. My college level accounting classes which has helped me solidify my decision towards a degree as business major.
I love competing in multiple sports, and I am a starter for my high school varsity field hockey team and lacrosse teams as of my sophomore year. This year will be my 12th playing lacrosse and my 8th year playing on a competitive travel team.
My love for lacrosse has driven me to not only be a better student, but also to increase my lacrosse iQ. I am a certified level one lacrosse coach, and will look to complete my level two certification this January.
I also coach one of our local elementary level PAL teams and volunteer my time with younger goalies who are looking to build both their confidence and the skills. I am working on my Girl Scout Gold Award, focusing on bringing lacrosse back into our community for younger players to gain more confidence and the same appreciation for the game that I was given through an learn to play opportunity in Kindergarten.
One of the most important parts of being part of the lacrosse community for me is the knowledge, friendships, and support I am part of off the field. Being part of a team, coaching a team, supporting a new player, learning from coaches and other players has helped to give me the confidence to be in the goal.
As an student athlete I will always give more than 110% to ensure that I always play forward the knowledge and support.
