Personal Statement

As a goalie, I enjoy both the physical and mental aspects of the game. I hope to attend a college with a strong academic reputation that has an equally strong  lacrosse program. I have had a successful career in lacrosse so far, and I am always looking for opportunities to improve both physically and mentally.  I have been fortunate to work with fantastic goalies, including Caylee Waters and Riley Hertford, and I hope to emulate the fundamental talents they exhibit on the field.

Coaches have always said that I am coachable and that I work hard to internalize what I am being taught. I was awarded the Respect Award for exhibiting outstanding coachability for the Oregon state youth lacrosse team.  Above all, I understand the importance of playing as a team and demonstrating sportsmanship.  The statistics below mark some highlights of my lacrosse career in middle school.

  • Goalie, OGYLA State Champions, 7/8, Oregon Episcopal School, 2017
  • Goalie, OGYLA Jamboree Winner for 7/8 bracket, 2018 (no state championship tournaments were held for this year)

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
