As a little girl, I dreamed of one day competing at the highest level. I first started playing soccer when I was 8 year's old. I played for fun, but soon realized how much I loved the game. I was nervous to tryout for a club team because I did not know if my talents were good enough. It was not until 12 that I tried out for my first club team, Boynton Knights. I made the Red team, which was the B team. With hard work and dedication, by midseason, I was moved up to the Black team (A team). Not only did my hard work pay off, I became a starter. The following year, my family made the decision to move me over to a new club, Wellington Wave. After the first night of tryouts, the coach for the A team called my parents and offered me a spot. I accepted and became the starting sweeper. My freshman year of high school I made the varsity soccer team and starting more than half the games and the District final. I am a hard worker. I will do what it takes to be the best student-athlete I can. My parents instilled hard work into my values system; that is all I know. I hope and pray that one day, I will sign a letter of intent to play soccer in college.
