Hi, thanks for stopping and looking at my profile. I am originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado. I moved to Valdosta, Georgia in 2018 when my father took a new job. Moving across the country, I had to step out of my comfort zone and meet new people. The first thing I did when moving to Georgia was try out for and make the local club volleyball team. Through this experience I became part of a family and gained confidence. Over the last 5 years of club volleyball I have been utilized as a libero, setter, an outside hitter, and now a middle blocker. I am always willing to help my team in whichever position they need me and put in extra work to master new skills. This hard work has already paid off. My eighth grade year I was asked to play up on my high school volleyball team. I was a starter and played both front and back row to help our team win the region championship. We have been successful for the past 3 years winning the region title. This has definitely been my best volleyball experience so far.
I plan on going to college to study biology and veterinary sciences to become a veterinarian. The benefits of being a student athlete is that it drives you to not just to be better on the court, but also the classroom. From playing volleyball I have learned that I am my biggest critic. But from this I am constantly improving and becoming stronger. I am always up for a challenge and I am very teachable and coachable.
