My time as a Freshman student athlete has affirmed three things for me. My passion for volleyball has only grown; I have developed as a student and an appreciation for my education; and my desire to continue playing has developed even more. Being apart of a team has made me a stronger person and I recognize the value of being on a team.
I love volleyball and my passion for playing has only grown since I’ve started college. I believe that through playing volleyball I will be able to learn valuable skills through teamwork and being able to lead and learn both on and off the court.
Academics will always come first, because that is my future. I have come to recognize my joy and strengths lie in Exercise Science and I have a growing passion for Athletic Training.
As a Freshman college athlete finishing my second semester, I have learned a lot in a short time in regards to college sports. Being on such an amazing team with high standards of culture has helped me develop confidence and trust in my own abilities as well as my teammates. Having been on this national championship team has allowed me to gain valuable experience with playing at a competitive level and being able to push myself and those around me to be better.
