Hello!
I am Mary Grace Vallentine, 6’1” middle Hitter/Blocker and I am currently a sophomore at Branchville High School in a small town in South Carolina. I have been part of a volleyball program since 8th grade and Club ball for 4 years. I have had the opportunity to be a part of the 1A Volleyball State championship team, Gold, Silver and Bronze division Championships and experience the thrill of the wins. I have also been part of a teams that have lost the State championship, Gold, and Silver divisions. Losing is hard! But I always have great sportsmanship and grace. I also have learned how to encourage and motivate my teammates to be the best they can be winning or losing. I strive ALWAYS to leave it all on the court, determination and just one play can change the momentum of the game.
I am dedicated to the sport of volleyball but also my academics. I am in the top 5% of my class academically. I have been in the Beta Club since 7th grade and have won several state awards. I currently am a dual credit student at high school and our local technical college. I also participate in basketball and track to keep physically fit for my passion: Volleyball. I look forward to exploring the opportunities that are offered on the collegiate level for sports and academics as I am still determining my career goals. I would be a great addition to any college that would give me the opportunity to wear their colors, in 2023.
