I'm glad that my coaches, friends, teachers, and team see me as a leader. My best friends are my teammates, and I love that most of us will be together for many more years. I have become more vocal as I've grown as a leader and captain, but my team and coaches know that that I'm as aggressive as anyone else. My club teams have always competed in the top or Open division, in both national qualifiers and at the GJNC. Competing in the Open at the GJNC, and finishing among the top eleven teams in the country 2 different times has been amazing. I'm confident that anyone who watches me will see someone who loves the game, loves her team, and never gives up. I started playing volleyball in 2nd grade, and it has been become a great part of me ever since. I am a volleyball player, and I will identify with the sport for the rest of my life. It has made me develop a work ethic that never lets me settle, and I think volleyball has made me push myself to be better in other areas as well. The friendships I've developed with people I have either played with or against will last a lifetime. I look forward to the future, and I will continue to take a challenging schedule of above level classes in high school. I plan to eventually work toward a degree in business, finance, or accounting, and attend a college that would be competitive in what is offered in these areas. I can't wait to see where my volleyball future takes me, but I look forward to the opportunities and experiences that await.
