Corey Kelley '14 Recruiting Profile

  My Name is Corey Kelley.  I play outfield, pitcher and first base. I have been playing baseball for as long as I can remember. I currently train everyday on fielding mechanics, arm strength and weight lifting. As much as the game of baseball is physical, it is also a mental game. I believe I have a well rounded understanding of the game and am able to demonstrate  this to my team mates so they will trust and believe in me through leadership both on the field and off the field.

My passion and desire for the game of baseball is unbelievable. From my earliest memories as a child I have always wanted to play at the highest level that I can achieve.As great as my desire is to play baseball I also am aware that my education is what i have to achieve to carry me through the rest of my life. My Parents have pushed me to be the best I can be and have given me the tools to become a better player on the field and a better person off the field. I am truly dedicated, motivated and continue to push myself everyday to be the best that I can be. Baseball, as in life is what you make of it. Without great sacrifice, determination, and perseverance you will not achieve the goals that you desire.
