Lucas Baggett '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a CO 2022 catcher, infielder, and right-handed pitcher that lives in Pike Road, Alabama.  My father is in in the Air Force, so I've gotten the privilege to live and play baseball around the states and around the world. Due to his service, I receive free tuition to any public univeristy in Alabama.  I play for The Prospect Lab organization and attend Pike Road High School. In 8-9th grades, I attended the American School of Doha and was the starting catcher for the Junior Varsity team in 2017-2018 and was the starting catcher for the Varsity team in the 2018-2019 season.  I've played in countries such as India, Qatar, Kuwait, and Thailand. After moving back to Alabama, I was the starting catcher and a key member of the bullpen in 2020 for Pike Road HS. For the 2021 season, I was a primary starting pitcher and utility infielder. I was our #1 on the mound and led my teammates to the first  State Championship appearance in school history. My final stat line for the 2021 season on the mound was: 92.2 IP, 55H, 10ER, 32BB, 106K’s, 0.76 ERA. I was also selected to second team All State by the Alabama Sports Writers Association, and first team All Metro as a junior.
