Landon Simonson '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Landon Simonson, I graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School in Juneau, Alaska

I am dedicated to baseball and put forth as much time as possible on and off the field to improve and grow as a player. I moved to Juneau, Alaska from Mesa, Arizona in 2020. Everything about baseball is different in Alaska.  In Juneau, Alaska our baseball fields are made out of glacial silt and we get 250 days of precipitation a year, regardless we practice outside. We have a local small field house in the winter months that we can hit and field inside. My point is, regardless of the conditions, and the environment I am devoted and dedicated to the sport.

Throughout high school, I have managed to keep a 3.81 GPA, and I wish to attend a school with a good baseball program and a strong small business program. 

My junior year (2023), I was a varsity starter. I started in three different positions - 1B, 3B and RHP. 

My goal is to continue playing baseball for college after high school.
