I love baseball and the art of pitching. I enjoy the camaraderie of team sports and working together to achieve team goals. I locate my pitches well and work low in the strike zone with late movement creating a lot of ground balls. I have a very good strikeout/walk ratio and a low WHIP. My fastball average is 83 mph but has been steadily increasing. I have a great feel for my off speed pitches and can throw any of my four pitches (fastball, changeup, curve, slider) at any count.
I'm working on greater separation between my upper and lower half and using my legs more to gain velocity. I’m also working out to gain strength, quickness, and endurance. I feel I’m maturing late at 6’ 3” and 170 but by fall of 2019 I will be much stronger and throwing harder. I believe with good coaching I have a very high ceiling.
I want to study business in college and work in marketing and sales after I graduate. I'm a hard worker that can preform well in the classroom and on the baseball diamond.
Thank you for your consideration,
