Personal Statement

Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Cody Carmichael, I am 6'1" and weigh 195 pounds. I have been playing baseball all my life, and I truly love nothing more than to compete on the diamond. I catch and pitch primarily, but am flexible and will play any position well. I believe my best traits are my skills as a leader, a teammate, and as well as my willingness to learn in order to become the best baseball player I can be, on and off the field.

I am currently in the 9th grade whose primary goal is to advance my education and play baseball at the College or University level. My academic interests are General Business/Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Sports and Entertainment Management. I am a motivated, honest and hardworking student who has a strong work ethic both on the field and in the classroom.

I am extremely motivated to play baseball in college. I do not want any College or University to ever be able to look at me and say that I did not completely challenge myself on the field or in the classroom. I am really looking for a forum where I can continue to grow under experienced coaches while playing at a high level of competitive baseball.

Regarding school size, I have no preference. I am very open with a large or a small campus, and am not particular on where the college or university may be. Any opportunity is a great one, regardless of the location.

I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to read my personal statement, and good luck in the upcoming baseball season.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
