My name is Eli Brannon, and I am in the class of 2025. I am a right handed pitcher from Conway, Arkansas. I have been playing baseball since tee-ball. I have played the sport and played every position until I turned about 13. I started to pitch for my city-league team and was decent for my age group. As I progressed, I started to make good progress around age 15. When I realized I could throw really fast, I started taking baseball seriously and started working out, long tossing every week in the summer, and constant training with bull pins every now and then. My Sophomore year I was throwing consistently in the 67-70 mph range in game, and a few weeks after the season and rest I was throwing 70-72. Since last season I have kept working and training and have recently hit my top speed of 84 mph. I now consistently sit in the low to mid 80s. I have started on my high school varsity team since I was a freshman at Conway Christian High School. My goals are set to play in college at a competitive level. I have worked very hard to reach these goals, while also managing school. I also bowl, and recently won 2A state champion in bowling.
If I would describe myself as a baseball player in three words, they would be dedication, potential, and gifted. I have kept a 3.8 GPA while trying to find the right college for me, training myself for baseball, and many other things. My coaches know and brag on me on how hard of a worker I am in practice, and how seriously I take the sport. I get along with everyone, and have a good moral with everyone. I will be a valuable asset to any baseball program I am on, whether I play or not.
I want to attend a college that is the right fit for me. I also want to go to a school with a good business education, so that I can be successful on and off the field. I want to play baseball at the highest level possible even after college, and I don't plan on stopping. I want to attend a college that has a good environment, with a good and God fearing coach. I love to play baseball and even if I don't play in a high college level, I will still strive to be the best player I can be.
