Personal Statement

I have been obsessed with baseball since age 4. From playing in the yard to local league ball, eight years of travel ball, into high school ball, my love of the sport has only grown. I worked tirelessly, year-round with a one-on-one catching coach and hitting coach from age 8. I briefly took additional lessons in pitching, but was found to be more valuable behind the plate, so I decided to maintain my focus on catching.

I have been able to play under several coaches across the state and can acclimate to different coaching styles easily. I am self motivated and willing to put in the work to make my team successful. I have lead teams in many subjects such as baseball, football, and robotics and understand what it takes to be a valuable member of a team. I look forward to finding my place on your team.
