My philosophy for playing the game of baseball is to remain a student of the game and to play the game to the best of my ability. Also, I believe that one must respect the game of baseball. It is a privilege to play the game, and effort and hustle are both elements of the game that any player can control. Athleticism alone will not get me to my goal of being a competitive collegiate baseball player. Hard work, determination, being a team player, and going above and beyond the call of duty is what separates me from others. I envision my college years to be a personal growth period; as I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college baseball career. I am also a utility player willing to play anywhere the team needs me. I will strive to be an asset to the team where ever I am needed. I realize that the margin to excel in Baseball at the next level starts to narrow at the top, which is why academics are so essential to me. I would like to receive a solid education and major in Sports Kinesiology, to back me up in life. I'd like sports to remain an important part of my life even as an adult. I hope that I can help athletes in the future either through a physical therapist or as an athletic trainer. I am a fun person to be around, I am very outgoing, and will go out of my way to help anyone in need. I'm humble; also I want to push myself and my fellow teammates. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches, and the school I attend.
