I started playing baseball when I was five years old. At that time I liked to play, but it wasn’t until I was nine years old that I started to love the game of baseball. I was playing at Los Altos Youth Baseball League, and that year my team finished in fifth place, but we won the league tournament championship. It was the year that I learned to pitch. While I was learning to pitch, I learned how to stay focused, correct mistakes and use my height to my advantage. As I have gotten older I have discovered that I love pitching and my strength and confidence grow every year.
People describe me as being quiet, funny, a leader, and a kind person. While growing into the person I am today, I am thankful for my supportive parents and strong Christian values. My parents always want what is best for me, and for me to do my best. I want to go to a college or university that will prepare me for the real world. I also want to develop the skills necessary to take on a career that allows me to follow my passion. Also, I want to be able to help others have a good life and to give back to society. I am looking for colleges with overall strong academics, and excellent science and history departments. I plan to study biology, chemistry or history. I hope to leave college with not only good grades, but with lasting friendships and a great overall experience.
