Jaiden Rico hitti...Personal Statement
I can say my love for the game of baseball started as early as 18 months. Home videos show me bunting, running, sliding and giggling the entire time wanting more and more. Obviously, I do not remember that far back, but I can say my passion for this game began with t-ball at the age of three. I would later find myself playing AAA at the age of six in 2nd grade with many of my teammates 4 yrs. older and 4 grades above me. All throughout Little League, Babe Ruth, travel ball and high school, I've been fortunate enough to have amazing coaches that have had faith in me and have allowed me to feel the confidence I strive to have every day on and off the field. My past and present coaches have let me know I am coachable, a gamer, passionate for the game, a leader and have a solid baseball IQ. I would be honored if I could continue my baseball career throughout college.
I work as hard in the classroom as hard as I do on the field. I understand how important education is and how sports are just a part of the education experience. I would love to find a great college that will match my personality and will help me do my best overall as a student and athlete.
