Zach Grable '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a smart, fast, left handed player who has aspirations of playing baseball at a top level university. I am a fierce competitor who always strives to win in every aspect of my life. Having been a starter on two Sierra Foothill League Championship teams at the Frosh and JV level for a top Northern California high school, I am honored to have earned Varsity starting time in my Junior year to help continue to play a key part in our winning tradition.  As the fastest player on my Varsity team, I have already been seeing starting time in Center and Right Field as I competed in 2017 for all outfield positions against my D1 signed teammates. Playing travel baseball since the age of nine, I have learned that I must do more than my competitors if I am to succeed with my goals in sports and in life. As a left handed player with great speed, I learned to love the outfield at a young age. Though I have demonstrated my strength at the plate, with my speed, I am constantly working on my small ball game.
