I want to go to a strong academic school where I would be able to continue running with a team. Running is not just a sport for me; it has become a part of my life and shaped the community of people I interact with. I run year round - vacations, off season, by myself, and with my team - and I also have a job at Fleet Feet - a running store - where I am able to learn more about the sport and interact with athletes like myself every week. I love running recreationally, but when I am part of a team, I am able to set goals and challenge myself and I love that challenge. I love being part of an atmosphere, where like academics, my peers push me to perform my best and support me as I motivate and support them.
During this quarantine, I am continuing my training and working toward prs in the 1600m and 3200m. I have included YouTube links to my time trials and will update as I set new prs. In a recent time trial I ran 1600m in 5:48.2 and have gps proof as well. I also ran another 1600m time trial in 5:52, without rabbit, in 77°F heat. I also ran a 5k time trial in 19:11 - also with Garmin gps proof.
