Anthony Wiggins '18 Recruiting Profile

Academics is my first priority as I look  to continue my education career at the next level.  As it has always been stressed in my life to achieve high in the classroom, I look to continue doing that at the next level. I want to also continue my athletic career, playing the game I love, which is baseball. I'm a three sport starting varsity athlete, competing in Football, Basketball, and Baseball.  I'm also a member of the National Honor Society, and a member of the Associated Student Body(ASB). 

What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I'm a team first guy, who will do whatever it takes to win,  playing any position you need me to play. In high school I've played every position for my team except for catcher. What makes me different from other recruits, is that I believe in myself. There were times in my life where I thought to myself maybe this game isn't for me, but my self belief made me continue to play and love the game even more. I have the willingness to do whatever it takes to not only make the team, but to make an impact in whatever role is given.

The game of baseball is something I take very seriously. I want to be the best player in college baseball,  and have the work ethic and talent to do so. Pitching is something I've been doing since a young boy back in Seoul, Korea competing for Seoul Baseball Club, and playing in the CYS. I take my craft very seriously, working on the mental and physical aspects of my game. 

I've have been blessed to play highly competitive baseball in three different continents (Asia, Europe, and North America) and have succeed. I'm the player on the team, who is the first one on the field, and the last one to leave. All I want to do is win, and help make the atmosphere greater than it already is.
