Lucas Rios '21 Recruiting Profile

Football has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.  From the first time I picked up a football, I have aspired to become an elite level player and experience the brotherhood that comes with being a collegiate athlete.  I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that many athletes don't get the chance to experience and could change my whole life.  I am always working to improve my skills as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger.  I strive to be the best team leader I can be and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates.  I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.  In the classroom, I study hard and do my best to maintain a quality GPA.  I also participate in other extra curricular activities such as H.O.S.A. and Skills USA.  I want to attend a college where I can push myself to become the best student-athlete in the classroom and on the football field.  I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college at the highest level of competition possible.  I hope to become a great role model for my community and the college community I join while also making my parents proud.
