Carlos Solla '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Carlos Solla, I am a 17-year-old 2022 grad and I play 3B/SS/CF. I am 6'0 155lbs and have a 3.2 GPA. I attend Hercules High School (CA) and play baseball for the Hercules Titans. I started on JV as a freshman and then halfway through the season, I earned a spot on the Varsity team. Currently, I am playing with two travel ball teams and practicing with the Titans for the upcoming baseball season.

I began playing baseball when I was 4 years old and have loved the game ever since. For as long as I could remember, I've wanted to play on the next level— being able to play high-level baseball at a university and get the best education. This is a goal that I have worked so hard to attain and I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve this aspiration. I pride myself on my hard work and leadership. Hard work is something that I was taught at a young age by my parents. They would always tell me, "You don't have to be the smartest, just the hardest working." And that has been something I have followed from day one— on the field, in the gym, in the classroom, and in everything that I do.  At a young age, I have been influenced by quality leaders and grew up to be a confident leader. Growing up in the Boy Scouts and playing sports, I was put in leadership situations and I have always thrived in supporting my teammates.
