My collegiate goals include earning a degree in Kinesiology to become a Physical Therapist and being apart of a competitive soccer team. I consider myself to be a great candidate for your team because I am a dedicated and hard working teammate; striving to better myself along with my teammates. In addition, I volunteer my time coaching and training Lil Spurs, which is a program where 3-6 year olds begin learning how to play soccer. I believe it is important to help young athletes pursue their goals on and off the field.
While athletics are very important to me, academics comes first. I put all my effort into getting the best grades possible and challenge myself to take harder courses. I am a junior taking Honors and AP classes, as well as maintaining straight A's. While being a student-athlete is difficult at times, I know how to stay organize and manage my time to accommodate both.
I am looking for a college that has a balance between athletics and academics. I would like to pursue a university with an excellent academic reputation. My athletic environment would be one where I could make a positive impact on the team. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process as I have two other sibling going to college. I would also be willing to travel far but not out of state, as I am very close with my family. Ideally, I would love a school that is welcoming and excels in academics.
