Personal Statement

Baseball and education are critically important to me, and as such, receive the highest level of dedication and focus that I can provide. Playing baseball since the age of four, I initially was involved in basketball and football, as well, but by Junior High began focusing solely on baseball year-round. With an innate drive for personal improvement and development, I began weekly 2-hour commutes to receive player instructional coaching for offense and defense, which I have continued to do today. As I approached high school, I recognized the need for weight lifting and, given my schedule, realized that I would need to get up before school each day to ensure consistent weight-lifting along with taking conditioning at school and working out once again at the end of the day. My passion and dedication are mirrored in academics, as reflected in my 4.44 GPA and number 1 ranking in my class. As a junior with sights on a master's in business, engineering, or data analytics (still working that out!), I will have completed numerous college courses for credit and AP Calc going into college with over a semester of credits while still balancing extra-curricular activities in leadership, community service, and KCorps. Overall, what sets me apart is my heightened level of dedication and drive for personal development and improvement to be my best self and always support the team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
