My name is Matt Richardson and I am a 5’11" 160lb sophomore from La Mesa, CA. I attend Helix High School in La Mesa, Ca and have started under Coach Holland since my freshman year. In 2014 I received an All League Honorable Mention and in 2015 I was voted 2nd Team All League. I have a real understanding and passion for baseball and I am an extremely versatile player. I am also a player on the California Bears baseball club team, where my primary position is starting shortstop.
I am looking to get into the best and most competitive school that I can, where I will be challenged and stimulated both academically and athletically.
I am a competitor and a leader and posses the skills to play baseball at the collegiate level. I work extremely hard to reach my goals and have an undefined drive to be the best and to make my team the best, both on and off the field.
