7/8/20: new recorded Scoutcast PR: FB 88 mph, BB 71 mph
6/30/20: Although COVID sucks, staying at home has given me the extra time to study and get into a good routine with training. I’m really happy that my pitching is coming together. Every outing, I’m feeling more confident out there. Today, even though the portable mound was slippery and springy, no cleats allowed. I adjusted, took off some velo and had really good control with my FB, and slider -2 ways. My gpa for junior year is 3.78 with 2 APs. My cumulative gpa is 3.58. The March SAT was cancelled but I will sit for the next SAT on August 29. Since March 13, 2020 when we went into quarantine for the pandemic I’ve been finishing my classes online, building a workout routine with weights, arm care, and a mound set up in my backyard to get my training in. Gyms just opened up a few weeks ago in my county, but baseball fields haven’t opened yet. So I’ve been driving to Sacramento & Modesto & Lathrop to get live batters and bullpen work in outside. Those areas opened up earlier than the west coast counties. We have had a couple NorCal practice scrimmages in so far. Today, 6/30, was our first scrimmage vs CCB. New game video added. I‘ve added 10 lbs since quarantine started. I hope to put more weight on now that I can get to the gym 3x a week. Feeling good on the mound with my FB and slider and excited for August events. School starts back either online on August 19. Text is the best way to get a hold of me. Thanks

Heading into 2019-2020 year I will be a junior at Redwood High School in Larkspur, California (Class of 2021 with 425 students in my year). As of last year, I have a unweighted 3.42 GPA. This fall I am taking 2 APs. I have been a honor roll student since my freshman year.
This spring I play as pitcher and 1B on the varsity team. My gpa is 3.35.
I played freshman and JV baseball my freshman and sophomore years at Redwood. I got MVP- hitter this spring. Batting .475. Defensively I play first base and right field as a lefty hitter/thrower.
I played JV basketball my freshman year but gave it up my sophomore year to focus on baseball.
I have played travel ball since I was 9 years old.-most recently with Lamorinda and NorCal Baseball. I will play with NorCal Prime Red Baseball this summer with Coach Tony Crivello.
In high school, I play wherever the team needs me.
But for my summer baseball I focus as a pitcher only. My coaches tell me I project as a pitcher at the college level and hopefully beyond.
As a baseball player I have many strengths. I have played competition at the state and national level baseball, with some great coaches and commited teammates and great competition.
I live for facing and beating great competition.
As a two-way playing teammate, I look for private moments to encourage and shore up teammates who are struggling and try to boost team effort and purpose in daily practice through example rather than words. In the dugout, in practice I might be found jibbing a teammate who happened to get hit by pitch for the 11th time that season🤣 but only to keep him loose not to bully or distract. During a game, if the team is tight, I will try to keep us loose and confident.
If I’m only pitching though, I focus internally on my game and what I need to do, at least until my start/relief is over. Then I will be on the rail cheering on the team.
I bounce back quickly from a bad pitch, bad inning, or bad outing. I strive to focus on my execution of the next pitch and focus on things I can control.
Although I need to gain weight (180) for my size (6’4”), I have a fast arm , 3/4 slot with movement.
Areas I am working on this fall are resting the arm, but each day working on mobility, strength, speed, arm work, conditioning and gaining muscle weight- especially leg, shoulder and arm care. I will start throwing again November 1st.
Then I will work with my pitching coach on my throwing program, pitching mechanics, pitch location/accuracy, different pitches and iterations.
I watch the game every day online, love October, follow pitchers and video of their highlights online, and ask questions of my coaches and teammates on situational plays to learn more.
My goals for the upcoming season:
Building on and maintaining the shoulder, arm, leg overall strength to have a healthy body and endurance to last and thrive through this spring and summer seasons. The arm care, legs, shoulder conditioning routine I’ve built since starting conditioning my freshman summer paid off this past summer. I started the summer in June pitching at 81-83 mph but ended up in August 84-87 mph feeling great pitching every 3-5 days depending on pitch count. We were traveling across the country regularly too.
Goal is to get bigger (190+ lbs) by June. Faster (velocity FB 90+), control : pitch 2 pitches with better k:bb ratio.
Grades: goal is 3.75 gpa
