Edward Gutierrez '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing first base since I started my baseball career at 7 years old and I have recently been a LHP. I write with my right hand, but throw/pitch with my left hand, which as given me significant advantage. I have had some practice with switch hitting because of being considered ambidextrous and working to master that too. I have continued to work hard as an all around athlete (also playing football and basketball),  with my eye mainly on baseball. I work hard to have good grades to secure my future in college baseball. I am a team player that always helps to encourage others to be their best as well. I have a really good relationship with all my coaches, teachers, and bosses (I have had a job for over a year now).  I am very coachable and I am willing to put whatever work in to better myself, not just as an athete, but in life in general. I am a responsible and a hardworking person that perseveres. I WILL play baseball at college and continue to achieve all my goals.
