I look forward to attending college to continue my education and open more doors for my family and me. My goal is to play baseball at the highest level possible.
I have a good work ethic and show my teammates and coaches respect. I take pride in my ability to stay consistent on and off the field and lead by example to help my teammates be successful. I care about helping others and I want my team to do well. I practice and work hard to be the best student and athlete I can be.
As a freshman (2019-2020), my athleticism and speed helped me earn a spot on the Citrus Valley High School Varsity Baseball team in Redlands, California. I am a right-handed pitcher, play third and first base.
In 2020, I earned "Top Performer" in the Perfect Game Fall National Underclass National Championship, and was ranked #10. I was selected as a Baseball Factory All-American and All Region player and selected to participate in the Junior All-American Games.
In October 2020, I attended the Best in the U.S. Showcase in San Bernardino, CA, my 60 yard dash was 6.98, exit velo was 89.1, IF/OF velo was 80 and FB velo was 81.3.
This year as a sophomore, I will continue to remain consistent in the classroom and on the ball field. My goal is to always improve my ball-handling skills, strength, and speed.
Respectfully,
Jacob Jacome
