My name is Ariv Camacho and I am a 2020 graduate. I have been a 4 year varsity player and have competed at this level since my freshman year. Growing up financially has been a struggle but have always found a way to strive through. The mindset my parents have given me has allowed me to strive to success and do whatever it takes to be at the top. I have always taken and interest in my education and baseball. I have maintained most As and Bs throughout my education all the way from 7th grade to my senior year. I have maintained a 3.8 academic GPA and have taken all higher level classes possible and have done a great job managing my school work and baseball. Being able to take higher level classes and succeed as well as play baseball at the varsity level and succeed to the best of my ability shows a lot about my character and how hard I’ve worked to try and be the best at what I do.
I am a coachable person on and off the field and will do whatever it takes to help myself and my team. Ever since I was younger I have taken the leadership role for whatever task is at hand. Being so young as a freshman at the varsity level I was still able to lead a group of guys to have the integrity the coaches want. Having that heart and desire for the game of baseball as well as knowing the importance of education has helped me become the person I am today.
