My name is Mason Ogihara and my goals for college is to achieve my degree and play baseball while doing this. My degree focus will be in the health field with an emphasis in a sports area. I’ve been playing baseball since I was 6 years old and have been part of a travel ball team since I was 10. I love the game and I like to think I bring a hard-working can-do attitude along with great enthusiasm to all my practices and games. I work just as hard outside of practice with strength and agility workouts to ensure I am the best player possible for my team and teammates. My mindset along with my willingness to do anything extra will benefit me in school and eventually in the profession I choose for myself. I am not afraid of challenges even if I fail the first time. I will always get back up and do better the second time. Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement.
