Luke Farmer '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Luke Farmer and I live in San Diego, CA.   I like to play baseball and golf.  I found myself choosing these sports because both of my parents are athletic and play both of these sports.  I enjoy playing both, but my favorite is baseball because I like to pitch.  I know that comes with a lot of pressure, but I don’t mind it and welcome the challenge.

I have learned important qualities over the years which include teamwork, longtime friendships, knowledge of the game and leadership.

I think of myself as coachable and as a person willing to learn and improve on my skills at any age.   I have respect for the game, teammates and coaches.   My goal is to play baseball in college because it will aspire me to be the best and play with the best.  I also think it would be fun to travel to different towns and play in different stadiums.  I consider myself a good student that gets As & Bs.  My end goal is to graduate with an Engineering degree.
