Mateo Guittap '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a motivated and passionate person. I enjoy putting in the extra work in the cages and on the field to always get better. I am quick, can talk the game up well, and am a good leader. I also have good fundamentals in most aspects of baseball. My main position is middle-infield, and because of my skills and knowledge of the game my coaches have trusted me to play many positions on the diamond.  On past teams, I have played all positions.  I am always happy to use my abilities to help the team in any way I can. I would like to bring my versatility to the college level.

I study hard to maintain my high GPA. In college I plan to study engineering because I'm strong in math and science, and I love putting my innovative and problem solving skills to work. I love my family and am thankful for all the things they have provided. I love to compete and help others whether it is in school through tutoring other students or in baseball helping the team win.
