Tyler Rosa '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tyler Rosa from Morgan Hill, CA. I am entering my senior year at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, CA. Baseball is my passion – I have been playing since I was 3 years old. Because of where my birthday falls, I have always been one of the youngest players on almost all my teams, and majority of the time have played with teammates who were older and bigger than me. This challenged me to work even harder and develop my baseball IQ in order to keep up and earn starting roles.

I started playing travel ball at age 10 while still playing in my local Pony Baseball League. I focused on travel ball at age 12. Since entering Valley Christian High School, I have been a starter on the school’s Freshman and JV teams where I have continued to grow and improve as a player. I have many qualities to bring to a team – strong work ethic, coachability, and a team player who gets along with fellow teammates and coaches. One of the highlights of this summer was being selected as a 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-American. I am looking forward to competing in their tournament in Tucson, AZ in January 2022.

I am looking for a school who can provide me with the opportunity to receive a great education and fulfill my dream of playing baseball at the college level.
